•From Exeter take the A377 to Crediton.
•From Tiverton take the A396 to Bickleigh, then turn right down the A3072 to Crediton.
•At Crediton take the road to Sandford.
•Leaving Crediton drive up and over Jockey Hill and at the bottom take the left-hand road to Morchard Bishop.
•400 yards up this road at the top of the hill take the sharp entrance lane left marked Public Footpath/Combe Lancey.
•Follow the lane marked in red to the bottom of the valley and turn right and park in the Courtyard.
