By car
From Exeter take the A377 to Crediton.
From Tiverton take the A396 to Bickleigh, then turn right before the bridge, and follow the A3072 to Crediton. Just before arrival at Crediton some Sat-Nav systems misdirect travellers by routing them right, through a "short-cut" to Sandford. Avoid this apparent short-cut as you will end-up in Upton Hellions! Keep straight on just into Crediton.
At Crediton at the "Mole Avon Corner" take the road to Sandford
Leaving Crediton drive north up and over Jockey Hill and Forches Cross, straight down through the wood and take the first left hand road to Morchard Bishop after the Cricket Club and Creedy Park entrance.
At 50 meters some Sat-Nav systems will direct you to Combe Lancey through the Lower Entrance past Frogmire Farm and its Farm Buildings. Keep straight down this Lane, over the speed bump, grass central verge, 300 meters directly to the inner courtyard of Combe Lancey.
Alternatively ignore this Lower Entrance and follow the Morchard Bishop road 400 meters up the gentle hill to the top and take the first sharp left hand lane marked Combe Lancey/Public Footpath. Follow this lane over the brow of the hill down and past Little Combe Lancey right hand bend and down to the bottom of the valley, turning right into the inner courtyard of Combe Lancey.
From Crediton the drive to Combe Lancey should not take more than 5 minutes.
By train or air
The nearest International Airport and Mainline Station are at Exeter. Crediton has a convenient station connected to Exeter St Davids by the Exeter to Barnstaple "Tarka" line.
